So, who the heck are you guys anyway?
Clown Show is a guild of friends that have come together in the shared interest of experiencing new content, helping others, and generally enjoying ourselves in World of Warcraft. Our players have a wide variety of interests, from theorycrafting DPS spreadsheets to playing baseball and from Settlers of Catan and Power Grid to Rock Band and Team Fortress 2.
We don't have a binding list of hard-and-fast rules that we expect guild members to follow. However, please keep the following things in mind when interacting with your fellow guild members and the Ravencrest server as a whole.
The first rule of Clown Show is simple: Don't be a jerk. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. This applies to loot (don’t be a greedy bastard), voicechat and /g (don’t interrupt, spam or insult others), and everything else (seriously, just try not to be a jerk).
Racism, sexism, or other horrible crap have no place in Clown Show. That's a swift /gkick right there. To clarify: Funny and irreverent is fine, but using nasty six-letter words that start with F and N is not acceptable.
You’re in this guild for a reason: to receive help in seeing more content, getting that next great piece of gear, to have fun grouping with friends, or whatever. We’re a goal-orientated group, although we’re hardly what you would call hardcore. With that in mind, strive to help each other. Blizzard has created an online game with very few “chores” that offer absolutely no reward. In short, help a brother out.
Of course, if you have problems with the way things are run, or any suggestions to make things better, please contact an officer. We're always willing to listen.
